Floorcloths are admired for their merits…durability and ease of maintenance. They are particularly useful in those areas subject to dirt and wear, such as kitchens, entries, hallways and stairs. |

| How to Care your Floorcloth Cleaning: The floorcloth tends to resist soiling. Keep it clean by broom sweeping and damp mopping with water and mild soapy water, if necessary. Do not scour or use ammonia or citrus solvent products. Brush grit and large pieces of dirt off of your shoes before walking on the floorcloth. It will benefit from a layer of pastewax. Using: The floorcloth should be placed on a hard, smooth surface. To prevent sliding, use a very thin rug pad designed for area rugs on hardwood floors. Storing/Transporting: It is best to roll your floorcloth and transport
it in a cylinder. Cylinders are available from carpet dealerships. Frequent
rolling and unrolling is stressful to the rug. Allow the floorcloth to
reach room temperature before rolling and unrolling it. It will lie flat
with time. If it curls, roll it gently in the opposite direction over
a cylinder for a few minutes, or place heavy objects on the curled areas.
Never allow the floorcloth to be creased, bent or folded. |
